| PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY Of Dr. Dennis J. Hupka I knew I wanted to become a Chiropractor while I was still in High School. I had received Chiropractic care for a neck problem and loved the way the Chiropractor helped me, without medications or surgery. I decided that was the career for me. Active in many sports since childhood, Dr. Hupka’s affinity for water sports influenced him to become a licensed scuba diver and sport fisherman. He also enjoys a range of indoor and outdoor recreational activities including: snow skiing, running, and biking. For optimal physical conditioning Dr. Hupka is an avid weight lifter (something he has done since his early teens) which he complements with specific spinal and aerobic exercises. Dr. Hupka lives life to the fullest, loves New Jersey and subscribes to the concept: "Life and Motion are Inseparable!" After high school Dr. Hupka enlisted in the Marine Corp and received site certification as a meteorologist. Dr. Hupka is married to Dr. Lisa Mazzella DC and they both practice at Colonia Family Wellness. They were blessed in August 2006 with a beautiful healthy baby named Cole. While in the Marine Corp reserves, Dr. Hupka performed his undergraduate work at William Paterson University and postgraduate work at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. Dr. Hupka graduated at the top of his class and has earned a Bachelor's degree of Science and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. While in professional school, Dr. Hupka had undergone extensive intern and pre and post-ceptorship training at a number of locations. Dr. Hupka attained licensure in New Jersey in 2004 and began practice in April 2005. In the following years, Dr. Hupka has achieved numerous hours of postgraduate education in courses concerning the spine and soft tissue injuries following motor vehicle accidents, and impairment ratings. In June 2005 Dr. Hupka received additional licensure for the use of advanced Electro-diagnostic testing. He is also experienced and clinically skilled in neuromuscular skeletal diagnosis, pediatric treatment, x-ray analysis, motion palpation, Diversified adjusting technique, Thomas adjusting technique, Gonstead adjusting, as well as foot orthotics. Doctor Hupka is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC) and American Chiropractic Association (ACA). Dr. Hupka also works in concert with other health care professionals. If chiropractic care is not the most effective treatment for your problem, you will be referred to the proper health care professional. Dr. Hupka is a caring and capable Chiropractor.
