Not always. A subluxation is like a dental cavity--you may have it for a long time before
symptoms appear.  Although it may be possible to know you have a subluxation, it is
rarely possible to be sure you don't.  The stresses and strains of everyday living such
as housework, gardening, desk work, lifting, or even sleeping on the couch, can cause
subluxations.   Most people have subluxations somewhere in their body.  But the first
visit to a chiropractor is usually the result of a subluxation that has become painful.

Symptoms of a subluxations include:
Pain, Muscle spasm, Tingling, Numbness
and Organ dysfunction, (feeling ill)
Or

the most serious is NO PAIN AT ALL.
