A chiropractic adjustment is the art of using a specific force in a precise direction,
applied to a joint that is subluxated, "locked up," or not moving properly. The purpose
of this safe and natural procedure is to eliminate interference to the nervous system,
improving spinal function and overall health.

An adjustment is a specifically directed force, normally by hand designed to 'unlock'
the subluxated vertebrae returning normal motion and alignment to the spine. There
are a variety of different methods used in Chiropractic to analyze and adjust the spine.

To understand the treatment you must fully understand that all function is controlled
by the spinal cord and nervous system.  A message that is generated by the brain
travels down the spine and out the nerves to all parts of the body.  This directly or
indirectly determines action, or inaction of all the organs, muscles, and tissues.  The
cells of the body send commands back through the same spine and nerve pathways
back up to the brain to let it know their needs.

Since the nervous system literally runs everything from heartbeat and muscle
movement to birth and going to the bathroom, even the slightest interference would
prove tragic over time.

Over 1000 separate and distinct research projects have been performed to date
